Pure Aesthetics

Kaelen has worked in the health and medical spa industry since 1993 providing herbal wraps, body treatments, facials, cosmetic applications, laser hair removal, and corrective makeup procedures. Her aesthetic experience includes ten years at Canyon Ranch Spa and over five years at Loews Ventana Canyon Resort Spa. She has been an educator for Essensa, an exclusive line of organic skincare products. Her training also includes an apprenticeship with Bliss Spa, New York. Kaelen holds aesthetician licenses in both Arizona and New York in addition to an aesthetic instructor license in Arizona. She has spoken at national skincare conferences as well as written articles for industry trade magazines. Kaelen's passion since the early 90s has been seeking out truly natural products. Her desire to increase awareness of ecological responsibility and holistic approaches to health and well being led her to open Pure Aesthetics.

Rachel combines a background in education with a dedication to natural skincare to provide the best quality training possible for our students. She has practiced aesthetics in various settings, including an alternative healthcare center, day spa, and full service salon. Rachel continues to expand her expertise and is committed to professional growth in support of a pure, natural approach to skincare. She also enjoys the challenges of entrepreneurship and maintains a private practice in addition to teaching.

Following a successful career in retail management, Raquel opened Lakali Natural Skincare Spa in April 2006. Raquel was compelled to open her spa after her mother was diagnosed with cancer. The experience changed Raquel’s outlook and made her more aware of the importance of tending to one’s health and achieving balance and serenity in one’s life. “Lakali” means “Raquel” in Hawaiian and her skincare spa has an essence of the Hawaiian spirit. Raquel has a passion for green products and is a member of the Association of Holistic Skin Care Practitioners. Her interest in natural skincare brought her to Pure Aesthetics.

Shenille moved to Arizona from California, where she has held her aesthetics license since 2003. She is now licensed in both states. Skincare has always been her passion. She has many years of experience in the aesthetics field in a day spa and medical detoxification spa setting, as well as in her own skincare practice. Shenille specializes in Brazilian waxing and also provides facials, makeup applications, chemical and glycolic peels, body therapy, high frequency, LED therapy, skin rejuvenation, anti-aging solutions along with body sculpting and eye lash tinting. Her love of the administrative aspect of the business led her to become the office manager at Pure Aesthetics, LLC. She works in a managerial capacity and oversees daily operations of the school. Shenille is currently in the process of obtaining her aesthetics instructor license. She loves spending her spare time with her husband and their children.
